Oxidant







Key active ingredient in oxidative hair colorants, the most commonly used oxidant is hydrogen peroxide. The oxidant bleaches some of the existing color (melanin and/or previously deposited haircolor), and also oxidizes the dye precursors to form wash resistant color complexes.
